Dr. Randy Scholma has joined Mountain Town Counseling, on a part-time basis, to provide necessary psychiatric services to both our existing clients and new patients in the community.

Dr. Scholma is originally from Michigan. He attended the St. Louis University School of Medicine and graduated with his medical degree in 2005. Dr. Randy was also a member of the U.S. Air Force where he completed his residency as well as a deployment overseas in Afghanistan as a military doctor. We believe this brings such a rich amount of experience to his approach with his patients. 

Dr. Scholma has chosen to make NWA his home for the last 10 years. He has a passion for giving back to his own community, the one in which his children, family, and friends live.

He has served as one of the most popular psychiatrists at the Mercy Outpatient Behavioral Health Clinic for the last 10 years and, and will continue to do great work there. He will also EXPAND his practice to include patients from all over Arkansas. 

Dr. Scholma has a 4.9 out of 5 star rating from his patients at Mercy, with over a hundred reviews. He is caring, compassionate, and extremely knowledgable. Dr. Scholma resides in Springdale with his wife Emily and their beautiful blended family, with kids ranging from 18 down to 6 years old.
